Last night’s meeting at the Silver Tassie was a success. To date it was the largest turnout we have had so far. We started the meeting with a brief introduction of everyone attending and quickly went into discussing some business at hand.

I will be making a new page on this site with a list of all or books so members know what books are in the library and whether it’s currently checked out or not.

It was suggested that we have our next meeting at LYIT during a weekday lunch hour so students could attend and find out more about the group. We all thought this was a good idea and Johnny Boyle will be helping put this together with LYIT.

Other key topics discussed were:

WordPress integration for web solution.

Slideshowpro components in Flash and their benefits.

It was requested that we put together a list of free online presentations for members to use outside of meetings. I will be compiling a list of links for this starting with one I already have which is listed below.

The list currently holds 163 presentations from 106 presenters, totalling 146+ hours of video, that I and 32 others have added so far.
